I have been sewing a few masks and button headbands for my family, particularly my sister who works in an essential job. I have been using a loving the style shown below wit the pattern made by The Crafty Quilter, be sure to check her pattern out here, https://thecraftyquilter.com/2020/03/versatile-face-mask-pattern-and-tutorial/
And while I have been messing around with patterns, I felt that it was hard to make masks with elastic that fit a number of people, what fits me, doesn't fit my brother in law, so I wanted to create a solution to that. This pattern does use more elastic than a traditional fabric mask, but it can be adjusted to fit various head sizes, which is helpful if you don't know the person you are making them for. So I made a little info PDF of how I have been making these very quick and easy fabric masks. No folding and sewing pleats, the fabric pleats itself when gathered on your face.
